I am a freelance journalist and editor, based in London. I write mainly about the arts as well as features that relate to Israel and the Jewish world. I am a regular contributor to The Jewish Chronicle, write frequently for The Times Educational Supplement (TES) Magazine and have also written for The Guardian and The Jerusalem Post.

As an editor I have worked independently with writers. I was also the submissions editor for Haus Publishing for several years. I have had two books published: From the Edge of the World (Vallentine Mitchell, 2003),a compilation of letters and stories by Jewish refugees and The Sea of Azov (Fives Leaves, 2009) a collection of short stories, published in association with the charity World Jewish Relief (WJR).
